How do we use cookies?
When you visit the SWISS PLASTIC SURGERY website, we collect statistic visitor data to tell us which parts of the website you and all other users visit most. We collect data regarding the used browser, operating system, weblog and other connection data.
For this, it is sometimes necessary to use “cookies”. Cookies are small files saved on your computer or mobile device when you use one of our web pages. How do we use web analytics tools?
We use the web analytics tool Matomo to continually improve and optimise our online offering. This provides us with statistics and graphics that give us insights into the use of our web pages. Matomo transfers the data on the use of our website to servers abroad using an abbreviated IP address, which prevents individual devices from being identified. This forwarding of data to Matomo is subject to the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
The IP address transmitted by Matomo from your browser is not merged with other data from Matomo. Matomo will transfer these data to third parties solely based on legal provisions or as part of contract data processing.
If you do not want the provider to collect data about you via cookies, you can select “Block third-party cookies” in your browser settings. Then your browser won’t send cookies to the server if there is embedded content from other providers. If you choose this setting, other functions of our website might no longer work.
